Ball Pass Solo Day Trip 22.04.2024

A trip I had been wanting to do for a long time, an absolute classic in Mt Cook national park. With the weather set to be perfect, I decided that I wanted to run it solo in a day, parking on the Tasman side but starting on the hooker side, back over and out the Tasman side. A day as good as mountain running gets. This meant the difficulties of the hooker slips where out the way first, and the final run past Caroline hut and past Ball hut meant the easy sections were left to last.
